HİTİT UNIVERSITY EROL OLÇOK EDUCATION AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL
It is Turkey's first hospital with LEED Certification.
The project is internationally recognized with the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certificate issued by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), which confirms that it has been designed with the utmost sensitivity to energy efficiency, the environment and human health.
LEED-Certified Green Buildings demonstrate that established standards in areas such as sustainable site planning, water use reduction, renewable energy, ecological material use, indoor air quality, occupant health and comfort, transportation and waste management, acoustics, and pollution are met.
It is the largest health investment of its time as of 2013 by the Ministry of Health. Consisting of 15 blocks, the project has a capacity of 900 beds, 30 operating rooms and 86 intensive care units. 741 seismic isolators are used in our hospital, which is among the pioneering and exemplary applications in Turkey in the field of hospitals with earthquake isolation systems.
