Cahit Öztürk, who graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Akdeniz University in 1993, took his first step into working life within Tepe Yapı, one of Turkey's leading construction companies.
After his experience at Tepe Yapı, Öztürk entered the industry by establishing his own company in 1996. Since 2006, he has continued his activities with his company BTC Yapı A.Ş.
In addition to his Mechanical Engineering education, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The strategic energy pipeline 'Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline Project', whose Turkish segment BTC Construction successfully completed, has been among the top three largest implementers.
Öztürk, who has undertaken numerous large-scale national and international projects, successfully completed the 'Hitit University Erol Olçok Education and Research Hospital', which is the largest investment of its time by the Ministry of Health and Turkey's first to meet 'Seismic Isolation' and 'LEED Certification' standards, on a turnkey basis
